Buoyed by increased broadband revenue, TOT Plc will
fight for more market share in the local broadband industry by slashing
high-speed internet prices by almost half to boost its broadband
customer base to one million in 2008.
The move marks the first major step of the state telecom
enterprise's turnaround strategy to place broadband as a new flagship
business to replace the shrinking core revenue from voice services
on its fixed network, said Adit Harinasuta, executive vice-president
for marketing.
