Traffic Management Solutions for the Changing Data Center

As more and more companies begin moving their data centers to virtualized environments, selecting application delivery technology that complements the virtualized infrastructure becomes important. And if you've made a strategic decision to go virtual, shouldn't your traffic management and application delivery controller (ADC) solutions follow suit, rather than relying on dedicated, proprietary appliances?

Many organizations are already realizing the benefits of implementing virtualization in their data centers. In fact, a recent study from CDW LLC shows that more than 90 percent of businesses have implemented server virtualization at some level. And after making the transition and substantial investment in virtualization, companies are looking for a traffic management solution that also delivers the virtualization benefits they’re seeing, such as server consolidation, server containment, and business continuity.

The current market for cloud services is around $46.4 billion and will reach $150.1 billion by 2013.
