Advanced Info Service (AIS) is introducing call-centre services with languages tailored to foreign and local customers in Thailand's four regions.
The country's largest mobile operator would also offer a webcam call centre service to attract more users.
Chief executive Vikrom Sriprataks said AIS spent 200 million baht installing call-centre software to make services better and faster. He also said the company aimed to promote itself as an international call-centre outsourcing business.
Vilasinee Puddhikarant, vice-president for customer and service management, said AIS would offer services in four local languages in the northern, northeastern, southern and central provinces to accommodate the growing number of customers in these areas.
