The Cheval Group is pleased to announce our second
successful test of a Zone 4 Seismic Cabinet, by the independent
test facility, Met Laboratories Inc., of Union City, California
USA. This test was unique in that the requirements demanded two
racks be joined together.
The cabinets were tested and certified to : "Telcordia Technologies
GR-63-CORE, Issue 2, April 2002, Section 4.4".
The specific version of cabinets tested were 600 mm wide by 800
mm deep by 41U high. This cabinet was custom designed for a major
Telecom firm in Israel.
The Cheval team developed the finished product from conceptual
designs provided by the clients. The development process took approximately
6 months from start to successful test. Next up for our team is
the building and testing of a new seismic rack, which will be 600
mm wide by 1,000 mm deep by 42U high. This is expected sometime
within Q2 and will be available for sale before Q3. Further updates
will be posted as they become available. This product will be for
Cheval Group distributors and any other interested party. As with
all our products, private labeling is available.
