Cheval Achieves New Set of Certification from
Met Laboratories
December 14, 2007 - Cheval Group of Companines
has successfully tested another 19" seismic cabinet. Cheval
had previously designed and tested two other 19" seismic cabinets
for OEM clients. The new cabinet, called "Atlas" is a
600-wide x 1000-deep, 42U cabinet.
Atlas is now officially certified by MET Labs to the NEBS Telcordia
GR-63-CORE , ANSI T1.329-2002 and T1.336-2003 standards. Atlas was
loaded with 550 kgss and passed all required test with flying colors.
Khun Yuthasak Ariyakulnimit, Cheval RD&D manager comments,
"It comes as a great achievement by the Cheval team – we have
spent several months designing and preparing for these tests because
MET Laboratories' accreditations are some of the most difficult
to obtain in the world"
