The Cheval Group has just expanded their 19" rack test facility with this purpose build test and safety platform. The product to be tested will be secured to the floor of the platform and the relevant load and measurement equipment will be attached. The barriers ensure safe operations during the test process.

The types of tests to be conducted with this platform will mainly be high density load tests and stress tests. Stress tests are performed by securing heavy duty cables to specific areas of the product and then applying loads. Measuring devices capture the movement of the product structure and this data is later analyzed for product feedback.
