The directive applies to equipment in the following
catagories; |

| Electrical and electronic tools,
except large-scale stationary Industrial tools
Small household appliances
Large household appliances
Automatic dispensers |

Lighting equipment (including electric
light bulbs and household l Light fixtures)
IT and telecoms equipment
Toys, leisure and sports equipment |

While the number of our products affected by the legislation is comparatively
small we have undertaken a global review to ensure that all products
comply with the forthcoming requirements. |

The directive does not apply to equipment in the following catagories; |

Equipment relating to protection of the essential interests of
state security, weapons, ammunition and military
|
|
Spare parts for repair or reuse of
EEE on the market before 1 July 2006
Large-scale stationary industrial tools |
